questions.

Yesterday i did a quick little interview with the lovely Vanessa for 'The Monday Issue' talking about the store and our promotion with HOME the venue. It was lovely but i couldn't believe how nervous i was to answer some simple and entertaining questions about myself! If you haven't already heard how to enter on my facebook all you have to do is simply click on the link at the bottom of this post and register your name for the gary pepper guestlist then show up at HOME this Friday to go into the running to win a $100 giftvoucher with us! Easy money for clothes that you love! Apparently, the list is quickly filling up so be sure to enter so you don't miss out. And, if you guys have time check out the HOME website too, they have done a little spiel about gary pepper and i am over the moon :)

I thought i would post the interview to help you guys get to know me a little bit better, enjoy :)

If you could be reincarnated into any era, it would be: the 60's! The fashion, the people, the anti war movement and rise of feminism- all divine and my cup of tea. And honestly, two words: Edie Sedgwick. Fashion today is still a reflection of what she introduced to the world 50 years ago.

The earth is close to being invaded by mutant space monsters - the mothership is on its way, what do you grab?
My mac, my boyfriend and a ninja, they always seem to know what to do.

New Year's resolution?
Better time management skills & treating my online shopping addiction. topshop will be the death of me!

If you were a serial killer, what would your trademark be?
Oh dear, probably a smiley face! I cannot seem to stop typing them on my website, my blog, my messages, my facebook, it's driving me insane. I'd probably leave everything symmetrical with a little "I'm really sorry for killing you :)" note behind.

Favourite food:
I can't go past Mexican or a warm plate of pork dumplings.

How did you start Gary Pepper Vintage?
Gary Pepper was an idea I had when I was about 15 in high school. I have always been fascinated with vintage and how it creates so much freedom to express your own unique style but never knew it could be a serious career path for me. Last July somebody asked: "what is your dream job" and I replied "owning my own vintage store and traveling the world sourcing pieces for it" and then it clicked, why wasn't I doing exactly that? So I got my act together, did my research, launched Gary Pepper vintage that October and quit my job to take it full time after only 2 and a half months and the rest is... well, it's still in the making but i already feel that I understand the whole 'if you do something you love, you will never have to work a day in your life' thing.

A little bird tipped us off that a $100 voucher for Gary Pepper is up for the taking - how might we get our hands on said article of awesomeness?

Ah, would the little bird be the lovely Sophie from OHMY! at HOME the venue perhaps? But yes, we have an amazing giveaway with our friends at HOME nightclub and are offering one lucky person a chance to win a $100 gift voucher with Gary Pepper vintage! All you have to do is simply click on this link and put your name on the Gary Pepper guest list then show up to their amazing show with KAP BAMBINO this Friday night and you're in the running to win this fabulous prize! It's as easy as that! With over 1,000 party people hitting HOME the venue every Friday for their amazing OH MY! shows, it's a win win situation :) plus, we're also offering a vintage YSL clutch to anyone who simply suggests our GPV facebook page to their friends- crazy!
