So after one of the craziest weeks I've had this year I took a little break and attended the Ginger & Smart show on Thursday night. It was a wonderful night and despite it being cold and chilly outside I couldn't help but feel full of warmth and life when these beautiful garments started walking down the runway. Vibrant neons, flowy and ethereal silks, structured chiffon and delicately draped jackets, this collection was the perfect source of inspiration and really set the mood for what is going to be a whirlwind week of Australian fashion. Add some romantic lighting, whimsical background music and Rachel Rutt and you have a beautifully executed show. I think every girl in the room quietly died when we all saw that pink silk maxi come out onto the runway...

In all the chaos from the past week I arrived only to discover I had forgotten my memory card so I didn't get a chance to take any photos. A rookie mistake, and one I don't plan on repeating next week! I met up with Sara from Harper and Harley and we were so excited to be placed in the front row. This would of been the perfect time to have a fully functioning camera though.

Well I hope you're all ready for a big week ahead! Even though I've been missing for the past few days I plan on taking full advantage of the media lounge RAFW designed especially for bloggers. Also, about 100 new items are available in store now and another 100+ will be uploaded throughout the week including cardigans, tops and bottoms. Loving the chunky, oversized knitted jumpers and super soft cardigans in store here. Perfect for this freezing weather!
