This stormy weather really suits my mood. I feel as if there is something brewing in the waters here and i have never been so excited in my life. I've just had the green light to finally be able to tell you about some of the projects i will be working on in the next few weeks and perhaps, months, but i will save that for an exciting post tomorrow!
For now, i thought i would share with you the beautiful stormy sky and choppy sea i see from my balcony every morning. I love seeing mother nature at her best and the ocean just looks out of control, which is somewhat symbolic of how i feel today. Even though i still don't know why people pay attention to my store, i've decided to stop trying to make sense of it, be grateful for the humbling experience, and run with it. I suppose they say 'when it rains, it pours' and right now i feel like i'm drowning in exciting opportunities and i should take them while i can. But then again, i get excited when the man at the post office calls me by my first name and asks how my weekend was (i would even go as far as saying we're friends, perhaps?) or when i remember i have left over butter chicken in the fridge or even when i see tiny little caterpillars walking up my stairs and it looks like they're waving at me saying "HI NICOLE! NICE DAY, ISN'T IT?" so maybe, this is really nothing at all :)

I think the lady at my post office is a little mental. Whenever i go in (im usually there for 15min because i ALWAYS run out of post packs at the wrong time so have to write them all out in store sometimes) she asks me 'are you from upstairs? Should i put this on the business bill?'
I always say no and giggle and she says 'I've asked you that before haven't i?'
haha a funny routine

anon- there is NO WAY i would eat any of the things bear grylls puts in his mouth. i actually had to turn the tv off when he was attempting to skin a sheep and wears it's skin! haha but i am feeling a little man vs. wild :)
ReplyDeletezoe- i edit my photos in photoshop but try to keep them as natural as possible.
can't believe i wrote this post before i heard about the tornado in lennox head. i have always wanted to see a water spout but i'm so grateful the tornado didn't come here :)
