(Vintage Dress/Top/ Faux Fur Vest, Glassons Hat, Jeffrey Campbell Boots, Alexander Wang Bag)

What do I love and hate about this outfit? Love that the sheer pleats on this dress make it look like some sort of puff of smoke when it gets caught in the wind. Hate that it's not long enough to cover my ankles leaving them exposed to this chilly autumn breeze. Kinda in love with this hat too, which I found at Glassons of all places for only $35. I hadn't been in there for about 2 years but a leopard print bag in the window caught my eye and I was pleasantly surprised by how many amazing things they had at the moment. I saw a few super cute faux fur vests in there, as well as sheer pleated maxi skirts in black and grey. Definitely worth having a look if you're after one and the price point wasn't too bad either.

In other news I had a little clean out of my wardrobe and listed a few items on Ebay. There's a mix of Camilla and Marc, Zimmerman, Sass & Bide, Maurie and Eve, as well as my Alexander Wang loafer wedges and Jeffrey Campbell "Cest Moi" grey studded wedges to name a few. Sad to see them go but seeing as I've only worn them two or three times I think it's safe to say they need new loving homes. Have a look here and see if there is anything you like. Auctions start at just 99c and are closing in just 3 days!

Beyond obsessed with this wine colour for my lips and nails this autumn. After spending nearly an hour going through every shade of maroon, plum and burgundy I finally found the perfect colour I was after, which is a mix of a wine coloured lip pencil and a kind of plum lipstick. Can't really believe it's taken me this long to discover the benefits of lip pencils either. They stay on your lips so much longer than lipstick does and they don't seem to get on everything, like your coffee mug, teeth or the collars of your shirt. I can even give Luke a kiss on the cheek without staining his face! Amazing. Why don't people tell you about these things sooner? More photos to come..

Can you believe it's taken me nearly 8 months to track down the perfect person to produce my big bow headbands? Yes, I will admit I am an extreme perfectionist who wanted to make sure these were exactly - if not better - than the one I made myself so that added a little time, and I am also too busy to out source new designers so that added even more time. But I finally found her and I was blown away with the beautiful results. Each bow is made from a thick high quality satin with a matching satin headband and all carefully handmade with love, time, and care. I am hoping these photos do these bow headbands justice. Trust me, they are absolutely amazing in real life and out of this world cute! The pinks and red bow headbands are a trial at the moment so If you would like to see these in any different colours please let me know.

$40 each and available here. Enjoy!

Sometimes I really am taken aback by how lovely and thoughtful you all are. I've been receiving some extremely kind emails from readers who are worried I have family in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami. One thing you all probably don't know about me is my sister and I are adopted and have Australian parents, so we've grown up in Australia our entire lives. I get asked quite a lot so if any of you are wondering I am half South Korean, half Japanese, which I've heard is a weird mix? I've always been obsessed with Japan ever since I can remember and funnily enough only found out in high school that my biological father was actually Japanese. Probably explains a lot then! Regardless if I have family in Japan or not, what has happened to Japan is truly upsetting and equally devastating and a part of me feels extremely connected to the people there. I've never felt more myself when I visited Japan in 2009 and shortly after was when I started Gary Pepper Vintage, so in many ways I owe a lot to their beautiful country and the confidence I found there.

When out for lunch we were given these cute little notes with different hand made origami attached to each one. I have already donated but was so moved by the time the owners of this cafe had taken to make each one of these that I thought I would share it with you.

Please show your support and donate to the Japanese Relief here.

(Vintage Red Coat/Clutch, Gifted American Apparel Pants, Topshop Tee and Heels)

Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be caught wearing white pants ever again. But here i am.. wearing white pants.. again. The first time was in year 5. I was slightly obsessed with the Britney Spears "Sometimes" video clip (then again, who wasn't?) and somehow managed to get my hands on a white pair of jeans. Growing out of my Britney phase quite quickly I never thought I'd wear them again. They're surprisingly hard to pull off and if they're not tailored perfectly the pleats, well, let's just say the pleats create an optical illusion and probably not the best kind to be seen on a girl. American Apparel has well and truly reignited my love for well tailored pants and it seems even my childhood love for white ones too!

We quickly took these photos before our dinner in the city on the weekend. Love that it was cold enough to wear a nice, cosy, wool coat and even more because it's matches the beautiful red autumn leaves scattered around parks at the moment. Defiantly my kind season. I do love a good jacket.

I've always wanted a personalised necklace for as long as i can remember but i never knew where to get them from. This necklace was a gift from MyNameNecklace.com and i actually squealed with delight when I saw how beautiful it looked sitting in it's ribbon adorned box. You can't get any more personal than wearing your own name around your neck or beat that feeling seeing your name written in such beautiful swirly gold letters. It really is the golden frosting on every one of my outfits and helps make them that little bit more "me".

Available here.

Just a sneak peek of some the amazing vintage maxi dresses and cute little party frocks hitting the store tonight and over the weekend. I am so pleased to have finally been able to take photos of this special collection as they've been quietly waiting their turn for nearly 6 months in my office. All handpicked for their breathtaking, interesting and one of a kind qualities from private sellers across the globe, with a large majority of these being sourced straight from the UK, I am hoping these statement dresses will play a large part in your wardrobes for years to come and perhaps something you'll never let go. Particular favorites are the coral full bead embellished maxi, the black full pleated maxi and all of the cute little evening dresses pictured below, especially the gold bead embellished dress with a cut out back. So amazing. I've never seen vintage dresses quite like this before so i hope you all enjoy them as much as i do! It really is so hard to see them go..

Today i finally had a chance to get a few rolls of film developed. There's nothing more exciting than quickly opening your envelope of photos to see what moments you've captured. It's the reason why we all love film so much.

These photos were taken the other week on my fisheye lomo when it was technically still summer. I really love appreciating the beautiful part of the world we live in and can't believe the ocean is just a stones throw away. These photos are from a family picnic with my room mates Katie and Eli where we spent the afternoon enjoying the summer heat, dappled sunlight, lazy siestas and wobbly bike riding - we were a little bit rusty! It was a wonderful way to end what was a memorable summer with the ones i love. Sadly three of my friends (including Katie) will be moving to London in just three weeks so it's not only summer I'm saying goodbye too but also some of my closest and dearest friends. Change is tough, but always for the best even if we don't know it at the time. And from what I've heard, London is well and truly an exciting adventure.
