S U M M E R L O V E .

Today i finally had a chance to get a few rolls of film developed. There's nothing more exciting than quickly opening your envelope of photos to see what moments you've captured. It's the reason why we all love film so much.

These photos were taken the other week on my fisheye lomo when it was technically still summer. I really love appreciating the beautiful part of the world we live in and can't believe the ocean is just a stones throw away. These photos are from a family picnic with my room mates Katie and Eli where we spent the afternoon enjoying the summer heat, dappled sunlight, lazy siestas and wobbly bike riding - we were a little bit rusty! It was a wonderful way to end what was a memorable summer with the ones i love. Sadly three of my friends (including Katie) will be moving to London in just three weeks so it's not only summer I'm saying goodbye too but also some of my closest and dearest friends. Change is tough, but always for the best even if we don't know it at the time. And from what I've heard, London is well and truly an exciting adventure.

I can't even wait for summer, it's still cold and miserable in Toronto. London is such a beautiful city, you're friends will love it.

  22. i know the feeling, of when loved and close ones move away

my boyfriend is moving to japan for two years in the next 3 weeks and it is a date i dread the most. especially with all sad and unfortunate events atm.

but i'm hoping this trip will be something special for us and that when he comes back we will be a lot more stronger than we are now...

change is definately something tough, but if we look at the bigger picture and being optimistic, i'm sure things will always turn out for the better!

great post! i love film too!
