(Stylestalker Dress, Vintage Necklace, Camilla & Marc Ring, Jeffrey Campbell Boots, Alexander Wang Bag)

Usually I shy away from dresses because I feel like they can be a little too simple at times as there's only so much you can style them with, but this Stylestalker dress was one of only a few to change my mind. There are so many things going on with this dress that I can't decide which one is more fun to wear; the pink and black crocodile print, the crazy over-sized batwing sleeves or the plunging back with some sort of spiderweb straps? This dress is out of control yet everything seems to work in a beautiful and refined way. I was so happy to finally meet the Stylestalker girls during RAFW and it's absurd how down to earth and nice they are. One thing's for sure, they do know how to have a good time!

In other news I booked in for my very first market stall at Bondi Markets next Sunday the 12th so If any of you are around be sure to come down and say hello! I have over 400 vintage dresses hanging and ready to go and will also have some winter stock available including my customized crochet peter pan collar jumpers and cardigans. Looking forward to bringing GPV to Sydney but even more excited to meet everyone :)

  5. I would be so happy, if I could be there. What a shame that i don't live in Sydney. It would be great chance to see the dresses in real life and try them on. And I would actually buy one. Or two. ;)

The dress is drop dead gorgeous!

  10. "...there's only so much you can style them with" is exactly why I tend to shy away from dresses! Well, that and the fact that they make riding a bike a little embarrassing. But that Stylestalker dress has just enough detail to be interesting on its own.

    Good luck at the markets!

  29. I completely agree that dresses can be quite limiting when it comes to styling, but this number is absolutely bananas!

My favourite part is definitely the sexy, plunging backline with the spiderwed straps. Tres unique!

You have styled this one to perfection, pairing it with chunky Jeffrey Campbell boots and the edgy Alexander Wang bag. Beautifully done.

    Have a fabulous Friday!
