Words can't really describe how much I loved Yeojin Bae's debut show at RAFW. For me, it was my favorite show out of the entire week and also showcased the standout outfit (the last photo pictured above) that made my jaw drop before mumbling something like "Wow. I need that entire outfit from top to toe in my wardrobe. Now." to myself, like any crazed person does when they're obsessing over something. It was the only show I decided not to tweet, take notes or photograph, as I wanted to take in as much as I could in that very moment. These photos don't even do the collection justice and I wasn't happy with the quality of mine in comparison to how much I adored this show. Styled perfectly and executed with precision and grace, I could not fault one look Yeojin sent down the runway. Open silk blouses with little bras underneath, thigh high splits and sequined minis for some reason didn't come across tacky but in every way tasteful. Soft pinks, purples and beige kept this collection extremely soft and helped to avoid the colour blocking trend many designers displayed at RAFW. Keeping to the simple and understated feel, each models hair was swept back into a loose yet polished low plait and oozed sexiness and sophistication. Yeojin describes her lingerie-inspired collection as "Intimate, polished and pretty. Beautiful clothing without outside fuss around it", which seems to reflect my number one rule "Less is always more" and probably the main reason why I am in love with her entire range. This collection could not align any better with my own personal style. The highlight of the show? Seeing Yeojin's mum crying front row with what I could only imagine is an overwhelming feeling of happiness.

Wishing Yeojin a very Happy Birthday, which also happened to be on the day of her debut show! And thank you to MCMPR for letting me pop backstage. Now off to find what blouses I can unbutton before the weather makes it near impossible to do.
