Beyond obsessed with this wine colour for my lips and nails this autumn. After spending nearly an hour going through every shade of maroon, plum and burgundy I finally found the perfect colour I was after, which is a mix of a wine coloured lip pencil and a kind of plum lipstick. Can't really believe it's taken me this long to discover the benefits of lip pencils either. They stay on your lips so much longer than lipstick does and they don't seem to get on everything, like your coffee mug, teeth or the collars of your shirt. I can even give Luke a kiss on the cheek without staining his face! Amazing. Why don't people tell you about these things sooner? More photos to come..

    wow, that colour on your lips is amazing. when i first bought my wine-coloured lippy I was a little unsure, as the colour is often assosciated with older women, but against our skin tone it's look modern and fresh, and against paler skin tones it looks seductive and sultry. perfect colour!

    i've never used a lip pencil either hahah i think i've always been put off by the 90's fad of using a much darker colour to the lipstick ... which i never understood and was scared of haha
