(Miu Miu Bikini, Vintage skirt, Gifted Toi Et Moi Cardigan)
Just a few more photos from the other morning with Luke. I decided to split these into two separate posts because there's only so many bikini shots one post (or person) can take, and these photos focus more on the bikini itself and show you how it really looks when it's on. After this day at the beach i couldn't stop imagining how nice it would be to stop working and get away for a week or so to clear my head. After the webstore went online in January i've been struggling to keep up with it and I feel like i'm burning the candle at both ends right now. I'm constantly stressed or tired and have been moving at half the pace i usually would, so Luke suggested we go away on a holiday to do nothing but relax and spend some quality time together. Believe it or not but i've never had a professional massage, manicure, pedicure or even a facial so when i thought of where to go i instantly thought of Thailand. We're hoping to go in the next couple of weeks so if you have any suggestions on where to go, where to stay, what to do and any shopping tips please let me know! Right now we're thinking about flying into Bangkok then going to Koh Samui, Krabi and finishing in Phuket. A highly anticipated break from all of this craziness. I can't even begin to think about the shopping too!
Krabi all the way!! was my fav part of Thailand.

ReplyDeleteNicole, it is unbelievable how beautiful you are both inside and out. This Miu Miu bikini is seriously my IDEAL bikini. When I first saw your first post of this bikini, I literally gasped out loud because it was like finding that last missing puzzle!!! AH I'm in love with it! Anyway, Luke takes wonderful pictures, and I always look forward to reading your blogs. :)

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're treating yourself to a vacation. It's no good to get so burned out. Also, on a selfish note, I can't wait to see the vacation pictures!
Ahhhh, Bangkok's shopping is amazing! You will have a ball!
ReplyDeletePhuket was average in my opinion though Krabi is quite nice :)
Either way, I'm sure you will have a great time and most importantly it will be just nice to get away and treat yourself to a well deserved break!

chaktuchak market for awesome vintage finds in bangkok! a must go, and everything is really cheap. :)
ReplyDeleteThe white camera you are holding.. what brand is that? is it any good? so cute!
ReplyDeletehttp://bydetails.blogspot.com
Wow.. the sparkling waves look absolutely gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteI would probably say avoid Phuket unless all you want to do is go clubbing and buy tacky singlets. Siam square in Bangkok has amazing shopping, it's considered to be the fashion center of the city. There are loads of little stores run by fashion students and there is an amazing hotel that from reading your blog I know you would love, it's called the Siam @ Siam. Koh Sumi is amazing that perfect mix of a little bit of shopping and nightlife but at the same time you can still jump on a moped, drive for 5 minutes and be in the middle of no where. There is loads to find just driving around, temples, seclueded beaches and amazing views. And lastly if you get the time, go to Koh Tao you will not regret it. I hope this was helpful :) xx
ReplyDeletethis photoshoot seems like a great break from work in itself!
ReplyDeletethat is a pretty bikini! 'n it looks good on you...
ReplyDeleteanw, why don't you go to Bali instead? Bali is sooo nice. and if you have a quite high budget, then pamper yourself by staying at Ayana Resort & Spa Bali. try to search about it, its so comfy there.. hope it can help :)
wow i absolutely love your bathing suite, and you look so good in it! i would be so hesitant to post bikini pics! :)

Lovely bikini.

that bikini is so beautiful, I love it!
ReplyDeletemy favourite part of Thailand was Koh Samui and we stayed at a resort called Q Signature. By far the best and so peaceful and beautiful, just out of the main part of Samui, but still within easy access. A resort where you are greeted with fresh frangipanis on the bed. Oh, I wish I could go back!
have a look at some of my photos here, Thailand on Flickr, although they don't quite do it justice!

So cute (:

Hey Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI love your style, and you've helped me with my own! Wish some of the items on your website were still for sale as I love them...but was too late! Ive been to Thailand a few times, definitely go to Ko Toa, it is great for diving and there are no cars or vans allowed in the town so you walk everywhere. Lotus bar there has a really nice curry so eat for dinner! Krabi is beautiful, both sides of the beach are great and get a boat trip to visit all the islands near by, or you can canoe which is also really fun. Phuket is really busy and so is Koh Samui but if your staying in a resort it can be nice.
Hope I helped and you have fun,
Izi x
OMG your swim suit is so pretty!! *-*
ReplyDeleteyou are such a great model!
regards!

That bathing suit is just beautiful! Gosh, I envy your body (hope that doesn't sound creep, whatsoever).
ReplyDeletePerfect body, perfect bikini, perfect setting!
ReplyDeleteI love your Miu Miu bikini. So cute.
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend the Chatuchak weekend markets in Bangkok- absolutely huge & filled with great thai food & clothes & homewares to jus about everything. We spent 2 whole days looking around there ! I particularly remember two stores there which specialised in awesome genuine leather jackets! We got jackets for both myself and my Bf for only $40AUD each !!!
ReplyDeleteWe also liked the Suan Lum night bazaar markets !
Koh Samui is really relaxing and like the above post says renting a bike and driving around the whole island was wonderful and a great way to sightsee! Also, try having a meal in the fisherman's village for great fresh seafood :)
Phuket was good for activities and shopping for fakes etc bags, ray bans etc....
anyway enjoy !
Your Miu Miu bikini is so beautiful!! In love with all these shoots, so dreamy and graceful.
ReplyDeleteLove the clothes/bikini and photos.
ReplyDeleteI spent a month in Thailand and had massages every couple of days. So good and cheap. If you want to get a mani/pedi over there bring your own polish cuz every where I went had really crappy polish. I only got 2 until I decided they weren't clean enough. I was on an island at that time though. Maybe in the shopping centres in Phuket they'd be cleaner.
Loving the photos!!
ReplyDeleteYou should definately do a day trip to Phi Phi Island. There are some cute little vintage stores there!!

You look absolutely amazing in that bikini. May I ask where you bought it from?
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a beautiful time away, yes you deserve to have them all- a massage, a mani and pedi-cure :)
you look gorgeous time after time! have fun in thailand!
ReplyDeleteif you really want a getaway and a very relaxing time in Thailand (you own a little piece of beach, no other tourists in sight), I d recommend Koh Jum, a small little gem not far from Krabi (the ferry heading to Ko Lanta stops there. We stayed at Joy Bungalows and the bungalows are wooden cottages up in the trees with no electricity, just oil lamps and nice verandas to sit in the evening and great bar, where the food is excellent, the staff is adorable, there's free WIFI and of course electricity to charge all your gadgets..
ReplyDeleteWe have just spent a week there with my BF on our island hopping tour and it was our #1 fave spot.
Love your blog and style!

ReplyDeleteavecdeslunettes.blogspot.com

ReplyDeletethe most beautiful bathing suit i've ever seen

pure perfection
This is an incredible bathing suit, and a gorgeous shade of pink. Just beautiful. <3
ReplyDeleteOooh Bangkok is my favourite place on Earth! Lots of people think I'm mad, but I love the energy.
ReplyDeleteChatuchak Weekend markets are a must see. It's the only real place for new Thai designers to get their gear off the ground now that Suan Lum has closed (the night markets that a previous commenter mentioned). Make time to explore the non-fashion areas of the markets too, because there's MANY great sights to behold in the food and live animals sections!
Aside from that, Siam Square is the best shopping area. I LOVE the soi opposite the strip of big malls - wander down all the tiny alleyways to find some great little boutiques. Many of the designers who outgrow Chatuchak Markets end up with a teeny little store here. My fave jewellery place is called MossStories, in that area.
As for malls, just soak them all in! Central World and Siam Centre and the best, I think :)
CNN Go is an excellent website for Bangkok hotspots.
Have fun!
Go to Ayara Hilltops in Surin Beach - Phuket. Its amazing!!
ReplyDeleteYou're such a doll! The weather is amazing in Phuket now, come!
