Honey, I'm home! Well everyone, my short strip away was exactly that, short. I was reluctant to leave but i am happy, refreshed and feeling a little guilty, actually. Not because i stuffed myself silly with cheese, wine and fudge, but because I only had time to make it to a mere 3 out of 14 possible op shops. But don't worry, I did happen to buy so many new items that i literally wore 6 layers of clothing on the flight home to ensure i wouldn't exceed my baggage allowance. I'm glad i stopped at 3 as there is only so many layers a girl can physically wear.

My weekend away was filled with daisy fields,
sitting on cliffs, hitch hiking, home made sushi, road trips, kite flying and hot cups of English breakfast every morning and afternoon. I was in a place where the air is cleaner, the wind is crisp. The people are nicer and the towns are older. A place where little old men will happily refill your petrol and people will comment on the color of the sky and the shades of the grass. When i happened to do so, my mother unknowingly replied "oh yes, the grass is even greener on the other side". And you know what? i couldn't agree with her more :)
