So very exciting news, Sara and I made it through the first round and into the finals for the Cosmopolitan FFF Awards for 2011! We had an old Hollywood glamor shoot the other week, which will be out in the next issue of Cosmo. We were given 1920's mermaid waves through our hair and I was dressed in a stunning light pink Rachel Gilbert gown with a silver diamante encrusted top, the kind of dress you love but wouldn't have anywhere to wear it to. I'm so excited to see the final shots! It's been a very humbling experience so far and made ten times better that Sara is alongside me too. I read a wonderful quote by Hanneli the other day - "Bloggers aren't competitors in the way magazines are. We stick together." and I couldn't agree with her more. Love that Sara and I are in this together.

Do you all remember when I said there was a reason as to why I had been inspired to dedicate as much time and love into my blog, which has resulted in me blogging nearly every day? Well a few weeks ago I found out I had been nominated as a finalist for "Best Blogger" in Cosmopolitan's Fun, Fearless Female Awards for 2011! It's so crazy for me to think about and I still can't really believe it!

Voting opened just yesterday and closes on May 8th. I'd absolutely love if you could all show your love and support and vote for me here. Please keep in mind that for your vote to count you have to vote for who you think is the best "Fun, Fearless Female" in all 11 categories, not only just the blogger category. When you've reached the Libra competition form you'll know you've reached the end.

The girl in the second photo is pretty much spot on with how I'm feeling right now.
