M I S S U N K O N .

One of my absolute favorite shows of RAFW was the Miss Unkon "Girls With Kaleidoscope Minds". I ran into Miss Unkon herself outside a show and at first thought I was speaking to one of the models who had just walked off her runway. As you can see, Courtney Meyer (pictured above) is an absolute vision and reflects every aspect of her ethereal and dream like label. I had the pleasure of meeting Courtney properly when I popped into her beautiful showroom in between shows, where I previewed not only the new S/S 11/12 range but also the A/W 11/12 which will be in stores this May. It's full of soft pastels, chunky knits, cute feminine frills and long sleeved dresses with cut outs and scalloped hemlines. Winter never looked so good in my eyes. My heart seemed to skip a beat when I spotted this floor length shaggy knitted cardigan she was wearing and will be first in line to buy one as soon as they're released! Obsessed.

It's obvious how strong the Miss Unkon aesthetic is, being described as "The world of dreams, passions, desires - The magic of imagination". After catching a brief glimpse into Courtney's whimsical world it has definitely inspired my seasonal wardrobe to say the least, and I wouldn't be surprised if I start dressing like a woodland creature and covering myself in bindis and crystals.
